Description:
SUMMARY:Performs inventory transactions with a high degree of accuracy and maintains a safe, orderly work environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Record all inventory transactions according to inventory control procedures.
2. Organize parts and supply inventory within the designated inventory area.
3. Control physical access to inventory according to inventory control procedures.
4. Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels to support field service activities.
5. Prepare and submit requisitions for parts inventory, supplies, and equipment.
6. Perform and report cycle counts.
7. Communicate shortages or discrepancies to materials manager immediately.
8. Participate in the development of policies and procedures for inventory receipt by matching packing lists to invoices, inventory issuance to the floor, inventory credits and coordination with accounting for the verification and payment of received goods.
9. Arrange shipment of surplus or rework inventory back to headquarters as necessary
Responsibilities and Requirements:
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Must be available to support field service team on an on-call basis
2. Limited travel as required.
3. Perform additional duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to work and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
2. Must possess detailed record keeping and organizational skills.
3. Must have material handling skills such as forklift and overhead crane operation.
4. Must be knowledgeable in safe work practices.
5. Working knowledge of computer systems, including major office applications and ERP systems.
6. Must be able to understand written and verbal work instructions in English.
7. Knowledge of or familiarity with gas turbine components is a plus.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
2. Able to lift up to 50 pounds
3. Must be able to physically respond in emergency situations
Directions:
The candidate will be managing an inventory warehouse located in Weatherford, TX. The inventory consists of gas turbine and industrial components. Our main facility in Louisiana is where our frac equipment is manufactured. The frac equipment is powered by gas turbine engines. Contact m.howard@tptenergy.com for more information.
